This is Balenciaga’s iconic Classic City, crafted in Italy from supple, veined agneau leather in a rare powder blue tone. First introduced by Nicolas Ghesquière in the early 2000s, the City became an instant It-bag for its rebellious structure and motorcycle-inspired detailing.
Featuring its hallmark brass hardware, knotted leather tassels, and stitched whip handle, this example includes the correct embossed interior label and serial (40334.4760), confirming its Italian origin. The black canvas lining holds an interior zip and soft silhouette — age-appropriate slouching adds to its authenticity and appeal.
