How the Commission Works
Five steps from your brief to your hands. Star Buyers runs a category-specific weekly auction: watches close Tuesday, apparel and footwear Thursday, and bags Friday (Cairo time). The 90% balance settles on the Sunday following the hammer.
Tell Us What You Want
Brand, model, colourway, era, hardware, condition preference, and budget. The more specific the brief, the better the shortlist. Send it on WhatsApp.
We Search the Weekly Cycle
We search Star Buyers against your brief and build a shortlist of 8 to 10 candidate pieces with full photo documentation and condition notes for each.
You Review and Confirm
No obligation. Approve a bid only if a piece meets your standard. If nothing is right, the search carries to the following week.
We Bid. The Hammer Lands.
On your confirmation we bid. The hammer lands on category day. The 90% balance settles on the Sunday that closes the cycle, before logistics begin. Star Buyers runs Sunday settlement at the close of every cycle and the win is not released until the balance is cleared.
Re-Authenticated, Then Delivered
The piece ships Japan to Dubai via Star Buyers' logistics, then to Cairo via our trusted import network. 14 to 21 days from confirmed bid to delivery. Every sourced piece undergoes Yahya's 10-step re-authentication on arrival in Cairo before it reaches you.

Frequently Asked
How do I source a luxury piece from Japan through Sold Attire?
Send a brief on WhatsApp with brand, model, colourway, era, condition preference, and budget. We search the weekly Star Buyers Global Auction cycle and return a shortlist of 8 to 10 candidates with full photos. You approve a bid, the hammer lands, and the piece arrives in Cairo in 14 to 21 days.
When do I pay the full amount?
10% deposit when the commission opens. The 90% balance settles on the Sunday that closes the cycle and covers the hammer price, the Star Buyers bid fee (5% on bags, watches, jewellery, accessories; 10% on apparel, shoes, branded silver), and the Sold Attire 8% service fee. Star Buyers runs settlement every Sunday and the win is not released until the balance is cleared.
Can I cancel a bid after I approve it?
No. Star Buyers does not accept cancellation once a bid is placed, and we honour that policy. We bid only on your written confirmation, so approve a bid only when you are ready to acquire. If we win at hammer, the balance is due on the following Sunday.
What happens if my deposit doesn't lead to a purchase?
The 10% deposit is refunded in full. There is no fee for searches that do not result in a confirmed bid.
How long does delivery take?
14 to 21 days from a confirmed winning bid. Japan to Dubai via Star Buyers' logistics, then to Cairo via our trusted import network. Every piece is re-authenticated on arrival before it reaches you.
Why re-authenticate when Star Buyers already has?
Star Buyers authenticates to the standard required for the Japanese market. We re-authenticate to the Sold Attire standard for Egyptian clients. Yahya runs the same 10-step process applied to every piece on the site, with photo documentation you can request at any time.
Can I source pieces outside the Star Buyers catalogue?
Yes. We use our extended network of Japanese collectors, dealers, and consignment houses for pieces not in the weekly auction. Lead time and pricing are quoted on a per-piece basis after the brief.
