THE SOLD ATTIRE ARCHIVE: RETURN & REFUND POLICY

At Sold Attire, every piece is curated, photographed, inspected, and sold as the exact item shown. This policy is designed to keep the buying experience clear: eligible returns have a 14-day window, while authenticity protection has no expiry date.


THE ESSENTIAL SUMMARY

  • 14-day returns | Eligible items may be returned within 14 days of delivery when the Sold Attire security tag remains attached and the item is in its original as-sold condition.

  • Complimentary Egypt returns | For approved return requests within Egypt, Sold Attire provides return instructions and covers standard return shipping.

  • Lifetime authenticity guarantee | Authenticity claims have no expiry date. If an item is proven inauthentic by LegitApp, Authentic Detective, or another recognized authentication service, we refund in full.

  • Sale and price-adjusted items | Discounted or price-adjusted items follow the same 14-day return window unless the product page or checkout clearly states final sale before purchase. Final-sale language never limits the lifetime authenticity guarantee.

  • Refund settlement | Approved refunds are credited to the original payment method within 10 business days after the returned item passes inspection.


I. 14-DAY RETURNS

The return window Return requests must be initiated within 14 days of delivery. Requests should be sent to hello@soldattire.com with the order number, item name, reason for return, and clear photographs of the item and security tag.

Eligibility for return

  • The item must be unworn, unused, unaltered, and in its original as-sold condition.

  • The Sold Attire security tag must remain attached and untampered with.

  • All original packaging, dust bags, cards, straps, accessories, and included materials must be returned.

  • The return must be formally approved by Sold Attire before shipment back to us.

Once the security tag is removed, or once an item has been worn, altered, damaged after delivery, or returned without required inclusions, the standard return right is void. The lifetime authenticity guarantee remains separate and still applies.


II. BAG ARCHIVE, WATCHES, JEWELLERY, CLOTHING & ACCESSORIES

The 14-day return window applies to eligible Sold Attire archive items, including designer bags, accessories, selected clothing, jewellery, and timepieces, unless the product page or checkout clearly states a final-sale exception before purchase.

Because our pieces are one-of-one and condition-sensitive, every return is inspected on arrival. We check the item against the original listing photographs, condition notes, inclusions, security tag, packaging, and dispatch record before approving the refund.


III. AUTHENTICATION & THIRD-PARTY CHECKS

Every piece is reviewed in-house before listing. Our authentication process includes maison-specific inspection of construction, materials, stitching, serial or date codes, RFID details where relevant, heat stamps, hardware, lining, provenance, condition, and repair signs.

Where appropriate, we also use supporting third-party authentication tools and services such as LegitApp, Authentic Detective, and other recognized platforms. These tools add another layer of evidence alongside Sold Attire's in-house review; they do not replace our final responsibility for what we sell.

The lifetime money-back authenticity guarantee If you can provide formal written proof from LegitApp, Authentic Detective, or another recognized authentication service that an item purchased from Sold Attire is not authentic, we will refund the item in full. There is no time limit on authenticity claims.

Authenticity claims must include the authenticator's written conclusion, supporting photographs or report details, and contact or verification details where available. Sold Attire may review the item internally and may consult additional specialists, but a valid inauthenticity finding will be honored with a full refund and covered return shipping.


IV. DAMAGED, INCORRECT, OR MISDESCRIBED ITEMS

If your order arrives damaged in transit, incorrect, or materially different from the listing, contact us within 48 hours of delivery at hello@soldattire.com with high-resolution photographs. If the issue is confirmed, we will arrange a return and full refund.


V. EXCLUSIONS

Standard returns are not accepted for:

  • Items returned after the 14-day window.

  • Items with the Sold Attire security tag removed, cut, replaced, or tampered with.

  • Items that have been worn, used, altered, repaired, cleaned, damaged, scented, or marked after delivery.

  • Custom, personalized, or special-order pieces where final sale was clearly agreed before purchase.

  • Items clearly marked final sale on the product page or at checkout before purchase.

These exclusions do not limit the lifetime authenticity guarantee.


VI. EXCHANGES

Sold Attire does not offer direct exchanges. Because every piece is one-of-one, the clearest route is to return the eligible item under this policy and place a new order for another piece.


VII. EUROPEAN UNION COOLING-OFF PERIOD

For clients in the European Union, the 14-day cooling-off period applies in line with EU consumer law. Items must remain unused, with all packaging and the Sold Attire security tag intact.


VIII. REFUND SETTLEMENT

Once the returned item is received and approved after inspection, we will notify you by email.

  • Processing time | Approved refunds are credited to the original payment method within 10 business days.

  • Bank delays | Financial institutions may require additional time to reflect the balance.

  • Inquiries | If 15 business days have elapsed since approval and funds have not appeared, contact hello@soldattire.com.
