Independent authentication · Cairo
Luxury bag and watch authentication in Egypt.
Send us the photographs. A Sold Attire authenticator reviews the piece, documents the evidence and issues a written result you can keep, share with a buyer or use before deciding to sell.
Buying or selling a pre-owned luxury piece often begins with one difficult question: is it authentic? Receipts disappear, bags change hands and online listings rarely show the details a serious review needs. Sold Attire now accepts private authentication requests from owners and buyers across Egypt. The service is designed for a bag you already own, a piece you are considering buying or an item you want to sell with clearer documentation.
An authenticated result comes with a dated digital report from Sold Attire. This private service is separate from the lifetime authenticity guarantee covering pieces purchased from the Sold Attire archive.
Our strongest handbag expertise is in Chanel, Louis Vuitton and Dior, the houses we have handled and studied throughout years of luxury resale work in Cairo. We review construction, materials, stitching, hardware, stamps, typography, serial or date-code systems, RFID details where relevant, lining, shape, provenance and repair signs. Hermès receives a separate review because the leather, blind stamps, saddle stitching, hardware, artisan details and model-specific construction require more time and a narrower reference set.
Every conclusion is human-led. AI-assisted image analysis, archive comparison and supporting authentication databases help us compare details and identify inconsistencies, but software never makes the final decision. A Sold Attire authenticator reviews the complete case and issues one of three results: Authentic, Not Authentic or Inconclusive. If the submitted photographs are not sufficient, we request the missing angles before accepting payment or issuing a report.
Watch cases require a different standard. We can review the visible reference details, dial, case, crown, caseback, serial or reference markings, bracelet, clasp, paperwork and movement photographs when available. A remote report cannot confirm a sealed movement or an internal component that does not appear in the evidence. We state those limits clearly rather than treating a photograph as a physical watchmaker inspection.

How it works
Start with clear photographs.
Message the studio
Send the brand, model if known, purchase context and clear photographs through WhatsApp. We reply with the exact angles needed for your category.
Human and AI-assisted checks
We compare the item against maison-specific construction details, known references and supporting digital tools. A human authenticator owns the conclusion.
Receive the written result
Your digital report records the submitted piece, the evidence reviewed, key findings, the conclusion, date and any limits that apply to the case.
Your report
Evidence you can keep.
- Client-supplied photographs linked to the reviewed case
- Brand, model or reference details where they can be established
- Maison-specific observations and any concerns found
- An Authentic, Not Authentic or Inconclusive result
- A dated Sold Attire digital report suitable for your records
If it is authentic
We can help you sell it.
After an Authentic result, you can submit the authenticated piece to the Sold Attire Consign Desk. We review condition, demand and expected resale value before accepting it. Authentication does not guarantee consignment acceptance, but you will already have the first part of the evidence in place.
Questions
Before you send the photographs.
Which bag brands do you specialise in?
Our strongest private authentication work covers Chanel, Louis Vuitton and Dior. We also accept Hermès through its dedicated tier and review other maisons when we have the right reference depth for the model.
Is the decision made by AI?
No. AI-assisted comparison and authentication databases support the review. A Sold Attire human authenticator examines the complete case and decides the result.
Can you authenticate from photographs alone?
Many handbag cases can be assessed from a complete, sharp photograph set. Some pieces require additional angles or an in-person inspection. Watch reports remain limited to the visible evidence unless the movement is shown or inspected.
How long does authentication take?
Turnaround begins after we confirm that the image set is complete. We give you the expected delivery time before payment because complex Hermès and watch cases can require additional research.
Will you sell my item after it passes?
We can review it for consignment or resale. Acceptance depends on condition, model, demand and the agreed price, so an authentic report does not automatically place the item on Sold Attire.
Sold Attire is an independent luxury resale and authentication business. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or acting on behalf of Chanel, Louis Vuitton, Dior, Hermès or any watch manufacturer.
