Coastal surrealism, lacquered in noir—this is Louis Vuitton’s beachwear, reimagined.
Designed by Fabrizio Viti under the creative helm of Marc Jacobs, these Jelly Sea Star Thong Flats emerged from Louis Vuitton’s radical 2010s resortwear era. This was a time when the maison indulged in textural fantasy—where PVC met prestige, and silhouettes were sculpted with unapologetic boldness.
These sandals are a pure expression of that ethos: ultra-glossy black jelly PVC, seamlessly molded into a foot-hugging form. The look is punctuated by a gold-tone LV medallion on the outer strap, while the base features a monogram-embossed sole, ensuring every step leaves an imprint of maison legacy. Made in Italy, they marry luxury lineage with aquatic playfulness.
Never worn, and virtually extinct in this size, they offer a rare opportunity to own a now-discontinued archive piece—an ideal candidate for the collector or the coastal aesthete.
